Google has announced that starting January 2027, Gmail will stop supporting “Send mail as” for third-party addresses, including custom domains that aren't on Google Workspace. No. CustomFrom runs in your browser and calls your email provider's API directly. Your API keys are stored locally in the extension. The only request that reaches us is the one-time check of your license key.

Resend, Amazon SES, Postmark and Mailgun (US and EU regions) are all fully supported and tested end to end. If you hit a problem with any provider, email us and we'll fix it quickly.
Your provider sends them signed with your domain's SPF and DKIM, and it walks you through setting those up when you verify the domain. With both in place, deliverability is typically good. Brand-new domains may need a little time to build a sending reputation.
Files attached from your computer are sent as real attachments. Google Drive files inserted as links stay links, just as they do in Gmail.
